Beginning Drawing Atelier: An Instructional Sketchbook by Juliette Aristides is As with all of Juliette Aristides' books, this one is just beautiful. It's not overly large, and the information is excellent for those that want to learn real art skills in the atelier tradition. I will be doing a podcast review of this book on my website in the future.

Beginning Drawing Atelier: An Instructional Sketchbook by Juliette Aristides is Beautiful poetic book that leads you into drawing in a new way. Not didactic or overly rule bearing. This would be a great intro for new students, or for experienced one that wants a more intuitive approach. It is actually a real sketchbook that you draw in to practice the lessons. Highly recommended , and perfect as a gift. The quality of the paper, printing and illustrations is over the top
