Born to Ice by Paul Nicklen
Born to Ice by Paul Nicklen is I have collected a few of Paul's books, which were all amazing. But this one surprised when I opened the box. I was traveling and forgot I ordered it and I guess I never bothered to look at the sizing on this, so getting it and realizing how heavy and big it was, was pretty cool. Can't believe it was only $90! Have spent upwards of $500 on books that don't even come close to this. The imagery as expected is just incredible, and the size of the book really adds to the shots as well, as you can really see the detail. Also supported Paul and his work with SeaLegacy is another +.
Born to Ice by Paul Nicklen is Really nice book. But there are too many black-and-white pictures. I preffer more color ones. I do not understand why is there majority of pictures black-and-white when the world is so colorfull?!...
Born to Ice by Paul Nicklen is Its a huge book so its a good deal if you think about value per pound. More seriously it is filled with large high impact prints of some amazing photos of the polar regions. It is a must have if you are into nature or nature photography. Fantastic book.. I am giving this as Christmas present this year.
Born to Ice by Paul Nicklen is Paul Nicklenâs âBorn to Iceâ is simply breathtaking! He shows us the beauty of our planetâs polar regions and the wildlife that live there. The images are in both color and B&W and are beautifully printed. It is a hefty tome, if I had a mantle Iâd put it there for all to see. It truly is a lovely body of work and shows just how wonderfully diverse nature can be. We as a species need to go full bore and clean up our act big time! We canât let this be a history book for future generations to look at and wonder why we didnât try to save our fellow creatures when we had the chance. I highly recommend this book!
