Digital Photography Complete Course: Learn Everything You Need to Know in 20 Weeks by David Taylor is I am a home school mom and I use this book for my daughter's elective class. It explains everything so well. It definitely is a complete course. I highly recommend it. My daughter loves it! She reads it on her own time even when she doesn't have an assignment. It has bright colorful pictures with great explanations. It has diagrams and ideas to try. We are learning everything to how to hold the camera, how to take pictures in different areas, how to take multiple pictures and put them together. This book is so worth the money. There is so much in it to learn and see.
Digital Photography Complete Course: Learn Everything You Need to Know in 20 Weeks by David Taylor is This book is incredibly detailed. Its a must have for a newbie, or just as an all around reference guide for the avid photographer. Easy to read with tons of pictures, you just can't beat that. I started photography a little over 2 years ago and i decided to pick this book up and just use it as a guide now every now and then.
Digital Photography Complete Course: Learn Everything You Need to Know in 20 Weeks by David Taylor is I have absolutely no experience with a DSLR camera and bought this after reading a review posted by a mom that homeschools her high school aged daughter. I'm really glad I did. It starts exactly where I needed it to by explaining the camera controls and going from there. I love that it includes exercises to do to test yourself as well as a review/test at the end of each chapter.The subtitle reads that the course is 20 weeks. I can easily see getting through the book a lot quicker but I can also see it taking that long or longer if you reread chapters that confuse you. (Meaning me! )This is a great alternative to taking a photography class if you don't have any extra time or a class close to home. I'm 3 chapters in and I'm really enjoying it.
Digital Photography Complete Course: Learn Everything You Need to Know in 20 Weeks by David Taylor is I began reading it when my mother brought the book home from our local library. I was so enthused by its layout and lack of professional jargon that I ordered it from Amazon as a birthday gift to myself last February. If I had them, I'd give it five thumbs up. :)
